Damn, looks good. I almost had to put sunglasses on to look at a couple of those pics.

How long did it take?

About four and a half hours, give or take. It would've gone faster had I had access to a hose. I had to wash it the old-fashioned way: a bucket with water and car wash and two 5-gallon buckets for rinse water. Apparently, it takes approximately 27 gallons of water to wash a car.

Haha, I didn't even do a full detail on it. If I really went all-out, the clear would be buffed and polished, the door jambs would have been washed, clay-barred, and waxed, the wheels would be off the car for a full cleaning and would've been waxed, the wheel wells and suspension would be washed, the engine bay would've been detailed, the seats would've been pulled out, the carpet would've been vacuumed, shampooed, and vacuumed again (along with the seats), and the interior trim would have been completely washed.

And to think when I get my new paint next summer, I'm going to be doing what I did today once a month and a full detail (well, I won't have to buff and polish the paint obviously) every 3 months. It's called dedication

*ninja: Oh, if anyone in the 859 wants their car detailed, I'm whoring out my detailing abilities on the weekends

I've heard that if you get your car re painted you have to wait atleast 3 months before waxing. So you can let the paint "breathe"

I wouldn't doubt it. The paint takes time to cure and everything. I'll be discussing it with my painter (as well as HoK's customer service) next spring/summer when I'm actually close to having it painted. I have a feeling for about a week before I actually order the paint, I'll be on the phone with both my painted and HoK's customer service to make sure I have everything I need and the right quantities lol

And you can d*mn well bet when the body work and paint are done, the car will be parked in a garage under a car cover (yes, I'm covering a car while it's in a garage) every night.
