Dash did not come out. That is one of the things I never plan on removing from the car any time soon. LOL. The wires are just snaked through the fender area, and then back into the engine bay towards the back. You can see the wires if standing at a certain angle, looking into the bay, but I am not overly concerned about that right now.

If you want to pull the whole dash and feed the wires through, go for it! It'll look clean. (if done right of course)

Alright. Well here's the plan for the next few days. Not doin anything this weekend buttttttt.

Ac is getting pulled Monday or Tuesday, depending if my friend whos got a shop will drain my freon, and if eh does it for free. If not then sorry Al Gore, the atmosphere will be hurt.

Thennnn once the ac is out, I'm going to tuck the driver side harness. Mmm the bays going to look nice and clean.

Eventuallyyyyy I will be ordering the ss lines and stuff to loop my rack and pull power steering. Once that's out, both sides of the bay will be open. Both sides will be tucked, it is going to look awesome. Engine harness eventually tucked. Ballin.

It'll be well documented lol. I can guarentee that. I'm going to a car show in 1 month, so my plan is to have everything ready to go for then. Me and some friends are going to buy a few spots for our cars. I want everything painted and bay to be tucked and ready to go, not going to an amazing show car, but somethin worth popping the hood on. My friend is going to bring his ls swapped sedan and another friend of mine might be bringing his 93 twin turbo rx7 and doing a few dyno pulls with it if he does.

Well today my friend pulled my freon for free. So got home and pulled the ac, was real simple and quick. The lil half rad like ac thing is out, condenser, lines, all of it. So I figured while I havemy car already in the garage and on jack stands I'll get going on the wire tuck. So currently the driver side tuck is under way. 75% of the wires that come through the grommet in the corner are going through the fender. The ones for the engine harness will still come out of there, just ran low. There's also wires going up to the wipers. While I was udner my ar I discovered why I could hear an exhaust leak... one of the two bolts that bolt the downpipe to the cat was missing. Wow. I've been pulling pieces off my bay that look rusty or nasty and been either wire wheeling and polishing them or painting them. Examples are like the throttle cable holder on the manifold, pulled it and polished it. And the thing that bolts to the block to hold the power steering pump was rusty so I pulled that and painted it black, looks a lot better. Also sprayed my motor mounts black on the passenger side as they were looking bad. Overall my bay is getting a complete overall. It is still super dirty, I don't know what to do. There is a white substance on the towers are stuff, seems like a type of grease, and it just doesn't want to come off. Also there is lots of rust spots too, so I'm going to have to figure something out. Here are pics. I'll be working on this for the next few days, so updates will come.

I also tucked the windshield washer fluid lines instead of them dropping in your face. They now run through the fender, go through a whole by the hinge, and run inside the hood. So no more annoying hose!

You can see the hose by the hinge.

Almost 3 am and I need sleep. I'll get a little work done tomorrow, not a ton. Work and the woman needs attention. Worked on it most of the day today, had to stop when the tornado sirens started going off. That was exciting.

Depending on what is rusted steel wool can work wonders, my exhaust tip was covered in little rust spots and dirt and basically just a bunch of crap from the winter. I just used steel wool and water and it looks literally brand new!
