You have the sickest pink wheels ever haha, jk. Red on white always looks good on a Honda. Grill looks nice, and you can't get a spoon lip, because I am. I noticed everyone on here had an Si/type R lip and Im ready for a little change.

Thats ok, I'll let you have the spoon lip. I would actually get a mugen lip if I don't go type-r. When i was looking at alternative lips, I found a picture of a civic with what I thought was a spoon lip, but I later found out that it was a mugen replica. So I initially thought that I liked the spoon lip, but what I really liked was the mugen. So it would either be type-r or mugen for me

Yeah, I have the Mugen front lip and I really like it. Everyone around my area has the Type-R and I wanted something different. Car is definitely looking nice man! I don't normally like red wheels, but they look really good on a white car. White is my favorite color on EK's; I really like your car. Just wondering, though, when you did your grill, why didn't you paint the side skirts too?

I didn't paint them for 2 reasons. 1) I didn't get near enough paint. 2) here in a couple of months I plan on replacing my front bumper, getting a lip and fogs, and I will be getting it all painted together in a booth the right way. So its just easier to get it all painted at the same time. the grille may look good in the pictures, but the paint is really rough in person, and I wouldn't want to do that to the side skirts as well.

well its been a while so I figured I would put in a little update. I haven't been able to do much to the car due to the lack of money, and school has taken up almost all of my time.

My door lock on my driver side decided to give out on me and something inside the mechanism is seized up. So the result is that my door won't lock. So I just ordered a new driver door lock motor/door latch mechanism. about $50 on hondaautomotiveparts.com, and it will be going on as soon as it comes in.

also as soon as I get paid again i'm going to have to go get an alignment done. I can tell just by looking at the car that my camber is off a little, but I really don't want to risk the toe being off so I'm going to go get it checked.

alright well both good and bad news. The good news is that my replacement door lock finally came in. It was a special order part so it took a little while. the bad news is that one of the clips that hold the door release rod in place is broken. I am going to see if I can salvage it by re-using the clip that is currently on the car. Hopefully I can, cuz if not I will have to send it back and wait another couple of weeks to get another one sent out to me. I'll let you know how it turns out tonight after i attempt to swap it out.

Success!! I can finally lock my door again. I was always so paranoid about it, it makes me feel a lot better about my car being in a parking lot

So its been a while since I updated. I haven't been able to do anything because of school during the week and work on the weekends. It doesn't leave me much time for anything other than washing it and oil changes. But I'm out for summer for a couple of more weeks before summer classes start. So i'm going to try to get a couple of things done on my days off.

Today I started getting some Dynamat on the car. I was able to finish the doors today. The doors are probably the most time consuming due to all the wiring, and having to work around the door release rods, plus I wasn't exactly rushing through it. I still plan on doing some of the trunk, the rear deck, behind the rear seat side panels, and some under the carpet in the front over the next week or two.

Also going to get the windows retinted as soon as I get the tint done. but that will still be a week or two from now.

heres some picks

alright well one of my headlight bulbs went out yesterday, so I needed to get new ones. When I got around to thinking about, I started thinking about HIDs. After hearing a couple of people talk about the DDM tuning HIDs I figured why not, its not all that much money and I can get the cool headlight color that I wanted without giving up visibility.

So I ordered a set of the slim 35w 6k hi/low kit. Can't wait for them to come in. In the mean time i'm just going to go buy the cheapest bulb I can find to tide me over until they get here.

oh and I got really busy this weekend, so hopefully sometime this week I can get some more dynamat done

Awesome! I just saw that DDM updated the processing time frame from 7-10 down to 5 days now. Seems like they are catching up with the orders for now! I am order #877xx, and it looks to be that they are working on getting to 862xx now. Not much more time for waiting! woot!

Any idea where you are going to mount the ballasts?
