Well, anybody can stay in boost if they know how to drive. I can until the car hits redlin in 5th gear.

No offense Remmy, but that's a rather ignorant statement.

First of all, you're on a Greddy kit with a Bseries and S20 trans, of course you're not going to fall out of boost between shifts. You spool early and you have much tighter gear ratios than a stock Dseries.

Second of all, when you full spool at 5000 in 4th gear you will fall out of boost with a stock Dseries transmission and 7200 redline. Simple gearing dynamics, the car will fall to 4500rpms in each shift whether you have a lightning fast shift or not, there is no way around it beyond increasing the redline, regearing the transmission, or both.

Ok guys/girls, install of the new engine starts on the 18th of May. Should be done shortly after, and then I think on my birthday (May 25) I'm gonna hit the dyno and do some tuning... we'll see if I have race gas available for that or not.

But anyway, it's going in that weekend.

Looks like a really cool build. I'm wondering how much the build ended up costing you all together? I'm thinking about doing a build with a B18B but I'm not sure how much it will run me.
