He looks like he managed to get his to sit lower. Like a normal hood MIGHT cover it. How is that?

He must have made some custom motor mounts.......but his oil pan and header's are going to slam into the ground every time he hits a bump.

IMO id rather have that sucker sit under the stock hood and build a thick skid plate to scrap on but then again thats just me. hell with a stock hood that would be a TRUE SLEEPER!!!!!!!!

ya but with the hood he has, and being a civic, ppl may think he's a dumb ricer, which would make it that much more funny when he dusts them

thats why you make a skid plate... just like on a 4x4 truck. youd loose about 1/2inch ground clearance.

hell when i lower my civic i plan on slamming it VERY HARD and im going to make some skid plates for the front to protect the motor and tranny. hell my oil pan is already dented in at stock height.LOL not from me of course.... bought it that way. might have happened in the accident no idea.
its just an idea tho.
if your into saving weight use aluminum. me myself i dont care im going to use steel for mine just use some heavy duty hinges and make some access panels so you can change the oil or just cut a opening large enough for the socket and drain plug to drain also. afew inch opening should still give ya great protection.
