The teardown of the engine has begun. Spotted problems as soon as the valve cover came on. Two loose and one broken rocker. By loose I mean not attached to anything. What in the world would cause rockers to detach?

Nothing sets the project back - I have a spare head, but I'm ready to see carnage when the head comes off...All I really need is a good block and crank. If I'm lucky - rods. Everything else can go to hell.
