You've been funding a car project with unemployment checks???????????

I dont have a project as of yet lol. Im not doing anything until i find a job. Lost my loss prevention job because of travel distance, they closed my local job site and had to drive 52 miles for a 4 hour shift, twice a week. 8 hours a week isnt enough to live on, and my whole paycheck was going back into the gas tank. If i had a job, i wouldnt be trying to ghetto-rig this lip lol. And i already have a can of spray tint, so im just doing free/cheap stuff until i get it paid off.

Were your other threads "projects" or just discussions about the cars you had? I don't remember.

Pics of what you are working on otherwise you posted an Intro thread in the wrong section

good to see you back. sorry to hear about all your bad luck. I know how it is with the job market. I've got a job, one that I've worked at for almost 7 years, but I just don't make enough and they won't hire me on full-time (even though I work almost 40 hours a week anyways).

I can't find any place that pays more than what I'm getting that doesn't REQUIRE experience. I mean, how the hell am I supposed to get experience if none of you ****ers will hire me?!?

Ordered a Type R replica lip, Type R grill, window visors, and 3000k HID fog lights. Should be in next week. Still waiting for it to get warmer out so i can tint the tails. Hopefully in may, ill be able to get my windows tinted and polish my LS Meshies, Get some new rubber and slap those on. Then the outside is done and i can save for decent coil overs. but i got 1 question, the weather in PA is crazy. it just snowed this morning but a couple days ago, we had a few 60 degree days. I turned on the AC just to see if it works and it wasnt getting cold. Is there a way i can test the AC to make sure it works even tho its cold out? also, when i first bought the car, it changed gears butter smooth, now it seems like i really have to pull. whats that mean?

Thats what im saying. I already have my associates in criminal justice, and i got 1 more year left until i get my bachelores. Im not looking for full time right now since im still in college and plan on moving across the country as soon as i graduate, but finding part time work around here that isnt minimum wage absolutely sucks. I think im going to have to end up working at taco bell until something better comes along. Im not above any job, and ill take what i can get, but i should/could be doing alot better than min wage. i just wish my last employer wasnt a dick. i had the easiest job. Walkng around a grocery store all day while playing with my phone on facebook, catching shoplifters and fist fighting junkies. just sucks it was so far away.

I noticed a huuuuge power increase as well, but i chalked it up to being A. my old car was an automatic, this is a 5speed, and B. my old car was about to blow up and burned oil a gallon per week, so it was probably slower because it was effed up. either way, its so nice to have a little power to merge into traffic relatively easy. I used to have to floor the hatch haha. Only thing that sucks is i drive through downtown pittsburgh alot, and my hometown always has gridlock on hills, so im afraid im going to end up rolling back into someone since im not perfect at a clutch yet.

I usually pull the ebrake up and ease off it as I do the foot work. Fun times to be had ha ha.

The newer chassis are so quiet, but they feel so hollow to me... Or not hollow enough.

I'm happy to see people reappearing on this forum.

You've gotta hold the clutch at the point you feel it grab, then give gas as you let down the ebrake. I have a cable clutch though, so I can feel it grab. I'm sure there is a reason for not doing this... Lol.
