keep the civic! you'll be proud one day lol.. even if you want a 2nd car.. and if you're worried about lowering it, look at it like this- you bottom out already, so why not do it in style :P

 

At the same time be kinda realistic about the Civic. IF you keep it, what are the odds with you following through with plans? And it isn't like right NOW you have a good platform to work with, would it be worth the time and money to get it where you want? Or would you be better off selling it for something stick and maybe more ready for being built or whatever. I want to get another Civic next year. Odds are I'm going to pick up an ef hatch. Idk what I'm doing motor wise, my only plan so far is to drop it on its ***** 100%. Going to sit ridiculously low, won't be a dd anyway. Be making the car 100% bare and cleaning/painting every piece. But I don't plan on the ek being sold for a long time.

well i would like to keep the civic and give it to my mom, and then buy a manual transmission car, just because if i have to goto the city, it would be nicer to take the automatic, but my mom wants to keep her minivan running so she can haul stuff, and we cant afford 3 cars on insurance. hers is like 150 bux for 6 months and mine is 5xx something, now that we got renters insurance, the price went down for multi-policy. (funny thing is, renter insurance is 10 dollars a month, since we bundled, i save 20 a month on insurance, im basicly getting renters insurance for free + 10 dollars off my insurance haha). but yeah, idk what im doing, but i know what your saying. to get the car how i want it, i would need to re-do the body to get the dings out, replace motor, all kinds of stuff lol. not rly worth it for a 3000 dollar car.


i want to save up and buy splats v6 haha. i really want a rwd civic like punisher had.. no one would ever expect it.

 

This is exactly where im at. Depending on how nice i can get it during college i might keep it but thats a fat chance of that happening thus im wanting to make it worth close to 4500 (at least). After college i wanna find a nice WRX STi or even just a nice WRX but we'll see. I change my mind daily lmao

 

Get a WRX and swap in the STI parts, way cheaper than paying 20k for a sti

you will never get 4500 out of a stock hatch unless it got expensive rims and expensive stereo. otherwise, they can get one for cheaper and mod it for that price lol.
