I'm not tryin to treadjack (seems like every thread I make is 100% fail)

but my windows are horrible. If I turn my wipers on it makes it worse. The rain sticks to it like glue and my wipers are fine. I use windex to clean them.
Any ideas of why this is? Would rain-x help?

Eh you don't need Rain-X in its basic form.
For my windshield washer fluid I use Rain-X washer fluid (the 2-in one kind... it's orange-ish and the bottle mentions bugs and rain). It works really good.

What kind of blades do you have?

I would start by cleaning the outside of the window with a damp Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Then clean it again but use "Invisible Glass" (available at your auto parts store... best glass cleaner you can buy IMO, doesn't have detergents in it or whatever). Get some Rain-X washer fluid and start using that as your washer fluid. You should notice a difference if you don't have garbage wiper blades.

Or your windshield surface is contaminated. I would start with the magic eraser to ensure there is nothing at all on your windshield.

If you get wiper blades, get Bosch Icons. Every other wiper blade I have ever had would be streaking by now. These ones are still working like when I just bought them.

I found them at Target next to the interior detailing supplies. Should be around the same areas in other stores.
