i got no idea why they have bends in them like that... they just do.LOL

and funny thing is today when i went to the yard... why did someone buy the rear disk brake setup over the weekend.LOL guess you lucked out getting them! i just think its funny because i hacked the abs wires and brake fluid lines to get the lcas off... i was going to remove them the right way but said o screw it i got a power sawzaw BBBZZZZZ done.LOL
drilling those dam outter bushings is just a PITA tho even with a drill press! but after i drilled em and made the slit cut in the sleeve they came out alot easier, 2 of them came out after cutting them, and the other 2 i had to use the press still but came out with no problems like before.

The casting is identical to the Z6 but everything else is different (at least in part numbers). The springs, valves, retainers and such have different part numbers. The big difference is in the cam. The D15B cam is more aggressive and also is keyed ~4.75º (1/2 a tooth) off from the Z6 cam (my problem right now... need to get a Y8 cam gear to correct this). The keying isn't a benefit though, it's just a side effect of the head and block matchup I have, and I have to compensate for it with the different cam gear.

Here's the post from Bisimoto himself with the differences between the D15B and Z6 cams:
http://www.d-series.org/forums/engin...camshafts.html

The D15B cam keyway is off the same 4.75º (1/2 tooth) as the Y8, in comparison to the Z6, but the D15B cam is more aggressive than that of the Y8.

P.S. marcus, I think you were 34 cents short on your bolts you sent me haha. I gotta go pick it up tomorrow from the post office. No worries though, 34 cents is nothing and I need to head over there for a quote for something I gotta ship someone.

Got my new lug nuts today (the shop stripped my old ones). Got some Rays lugs... I like them a lot.

...and with the wheel clean

I picked up an oil filter for the turbo install since I used the one I already had when I swapped the head and oil pan

And my radiator plug was leaking (the plastic ones suck *****) so I picked up a metal one. In case anyone is wondering, the aftermarket Civic radiators use a 1/4" NPT plug generally (mine is CXRacing). You can pick up a metal radiator drain **** at the auto parts store for $2-3. I found this to be pretty neat... when you tighten it, the inside end retracts via threads into the main part of the plug, and when you loosen it the end sticks out into the radiator for flow control, so that you don't end up with a sudden whoosh of coolant once you get to the last thread on the plug. Make sure to use teflon tape.

Yea I got the center caps on eBay. The plastic main part of the caps is the cap that comes with the Drag wheels. The "H" logos are either these or these (I don't remember the size)... they're the same size and material as the Drag logo sticker things that were on the caps originally.

Ok so nobody order from JHPUSA, they are dumbfuuuuuuuucks.

I went to order those Mugen lug nuts the other day from them and when I pressed submit it took me to a white screen with a short coding, just random numbers and letters... obviously some sort of error. I waited, and still received no e-mail saying the order was confirmed or anything. I then proceeded to buy the Rays lug nuts from a seller on eBay instead. Two days later I received an e-mail from JHPUSA saying the order had been shipped... okay, so I e-mail them and after a day I receive an irrelevant response. I tell them it doesn't answer my question so then they tell me to call. Today I received the lug nuts. I didn't even open the mailing box they came in. So then I gave them a call... they are charging me a 10% restocking fee (~$10... I don't remember the exact order amount) and I have to pay for shipping ($11.74) to send it back... all because of a computer error on their end, which is either their fault, or the fault of the credit card processing company... obviously it isn't my fault. The JHPUSA rep told me that he doesn't know what happened, so I reply "I know, that's why i'm TELLING you what happened"... he replied with "well it's your word against ours".

I will be filing a claim with my credit card company.

Stay away from JHPUSA
