catback for 00 EX + high-flow cat/test pipefrom 00 EX and you will be set,end of story will bolt right up (althoguh you might get a CEL, depending on the secondary o2 sensor).

and IMO RSR is awesome stuff, soooo smooth. You won't regret it. YouTube some audio clips of it.

if he retains his factory header, he's got 0 chance of throwin a cel, as he won't have done anything to the o2 sensors

So I should just get the RS*R which is "meant" for the 2 door and buy a test pipe that would bolt up to my factory piping in the midsection of the car and hook up the catback from there on? thanks.

yes

You might run into a slight problem if the flanges on the exhaust and the test pipe don't line up....nothing an exhaust shop can't fix quick and easy.

true. i recommend getting a header if youre gonna be doing the entire exhaust system though haha and then he'll be in the DX/seconadry o2 sensor situation [:@]

cheap ones will indeed be fine as long as you retain your stock header

yeah that's what I'm going to do then, leave my factory header with it's cat and buy bolt ona test pipe off ebay, put it on the midsection where it's supposed to go and buy the RS*R catback. hopefully everything plays out well and it won't be too long then, lol.

if it's too long, you'll only have to take out the test pipe at least, and won't have any downtime while you wait on a part because the exhaust you bought is too short
