1998 civic dx
Hey guys i just got my 1998 civic dx totally stock. I am trying to decide what toput on it. I really want to boost the performance of it and maybe some horsepower. I was thinking of starting off by getting a AEM V2 Air intake. And i was wondering what exhaust system i should go with. I am looking at the Skunk 2 mega power exhaust or a Greddy EVO2 catback exhaust.if you guys coul give me some advice on that and anything else i should mod. that would be great.

ok i have the same car as you so i can let you know right of the bat.dont waste your money on anything from ebay. and when you buy parts for your car you always take a look at parts from the EX model since the parts are interchangable with the DX model, since they both have a D series motor.

by the way i see tht u didnt include headers, since ur doing a full cat back u might as well put some 4-2-1 headers on there too that would give u another 5-7 hp.

I've gotten all my parts off ebay and it has saved me a good $600 compared to what I would have paid at a shop or at MSRP. If you are meaning cheap knock-off ebay parts then you are partially right. Still, a cheap ebay SRI with a nice filter on it will do the exact same thing as an AEM SRI will, but for much less cost.
Ebay is a great place to get parts, you just have to be wise about what you buy and who you buy from.

well man ive been asking around bout a 98 dx im getting and everyone tells me they are a good ride to modify. i have a friend who has the skunk 2 and he loves it so from perspective i would head with the skunk 2. i not really familiar with the greddy evo2 so im not sure what your looking for but the skunk 2 is a good buy either way.
