True story. I ran a 2.5" cat-back on my car while running N/A and it was fine. I knew that I was going to boost it so I left that door open
thats why i said 2.5
I hear 2.5 is good for NA or Boost, so why not.
How long did it take before you boosted?

I just bought all new 2.5" exhaust off ebay. Deffinant increase in horsepower and I am happy with it. But I noticed that none of the pipes are not really 2.5" Is that common? For it to be described as 2.5" and it not be exactly. It is more like 2.25" but all of the parts are like that.

is it a legitname brand?! ^ if not, then dont expect axact measurements or high quatrlity. If you get GREDDY or aepxi you can expect some good quality and exact meaurements, but if its generic eaby brand dont expect good sound, welds, or exact pipe diamter.

Wel, the cat back it SRS, the high flow cat is OBX and the header is JDM. I thought that they where good brands but they are deffinantly not GREDDY. Then agian I do not have the funds for that so I guess I get what I pay for.

you got it off ebay, how much did you pay? If it says STYLE anywhere in the name, thats not a name brand, thats the cheapo knock-off stuff that everybody tells you steer away from. But as long as your happy iwht it, thats good.

^ mine was mandrel bent and on the some of the bends they were a little bit smaller because the pipe was stretched.

you can kinda see in this picture:

Yeah I am not sure, I now it isnt crush bent. But overall I am pretty happy with it. I dont expect to make this car a complete monster, I dont even plan on doing anything to the motor. Just going to make it nice and drive it until it craps. Then I will get an SI or GSR that is newer and probably bemore strict about stuff like that. This car is a big learning experience as it is my first civic project. Thanks everyone for there imput, I deffenantly know what to get next time.
