Anyone here have any experience with 5zigen exhausts?

Yep they sure do.

 

My roomate has a 5zigen exhaust on his 02 Si, possibly the best exhaust I have ever heard, in all honesty, if they made an exhaust for the 06 Si, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

 

Some of their cheaper cat backs use aluminised steel pipeing so watch out.

 

WHatare the negative factors attributed with using aluminised steel?

 

The main one is that it rusts, it may be weaker than stainless but im not sure.

 

Now that I think about it, his exhuast does have QUITE a bit of rust on it, and plsu we live in New England. But I would think that being aluminised stell would be why I like the sound so much, slight different resonance than stainless steel. But i will def inform him, and probably MAKE him get a new catback because he's and engineer and he has loot, hahaahah.
What would anyone recoommend as an AWESOME catback for an 02 Si

 

I've heard good things about the magnaflow catbacks for the new civics, but I would personally wait half a year untill almost all major exhaust companies have stuff out for the new si's so you have better choices. That way you don'tt buy something now and 6 months from now think "Holy crap that new *insers exhaust maunfacturer here* exhaust sounds awesome, why did I buy this?!?"...
