Someone needs to write a FAQ/sticky on this, as it's been asked 8 times this week. I can provide the pictures.

Ok so I found the 7thgencivic forum website. After looking around on there basically 95% of people say that an intake is pointless on the 7th gen and it doesn't seem like an exhaust does much either. Maybe if you go with I/H/E it would do a little but from how it sounds probably not worth the cost. So maybe I won't do anything to it as far as performance, I can't decide now.

its because 7th gen civics are ULEV (Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle). All you need to do when you get your intake is take it to an exhaust shop and get that ridicliously huge resisinator that is 3 times the size of your stock muffler and you'll notice a lot better gains.

P.S. I know I cant spell but I cant put IESpell on my work computer

If I did that would I still pass emissions and how much does a shop charge for that, normally I would install everything myself?

I beg to differ. I have the SRI and Exhaust and I feel a difference and so does my wife. I have been driving the same so I would say there's a difference.

depends on what state your in for emissions, in maryland yes you would still pass as long as you still have a cat and a muffler. A local exhaust shop to me chrages $40 to cut out the resisnator and weld in a straight pipe
