hi everyone, just signed up here. I have a

95 Civic EX Coupe 1.6 MT.. I just bought it and it has an ugly muffler on it. I am trying to register it out here in California but need to get a smog test first. I am not sure if it will pass with this current muffler, I will find out on Monday. I am looking to replace this muffler with OEM or one with better performance that will pass a smog test. Thanks for the input.

Matt

Hey welcome, good job on gettin an EX. You should get some pictures up of your car.

You should also look at gettin the Apexi WS2 exhaust. It's not a loud "ricey" muffler, but it still sounds pretty good.
Don't cheap out on an exhaust.

lol just so you know you never asked a question. But anyway lol. The wont cause you to fail. Only thing I can think of is you could get a ticket for it being too loud.

The only reason why you wouldn't pass would be if your muffler or other parts of the exhaust system is leaking badly. I recommend Magnaflow, either just the muffler or the entire cat-back. It has a great low tone and is 100% stainless steel, so you'll never need to replace it again.
