about intake for smog

Default about intake for smog

i have a question about the intake this is the first Ek that i work on and didn't know that theres diferent styles of stock intakes .mine is an ex right now i got cold air but i dont pass the visual part of the california smog .he gave me grief about header but its a dc so it's got a bar tag.so know my question is what other intake will work or where can i find one online.I tried wrecking yard's no luck .cant find online either ebay had one for dx was told wont work on ex.any help apreciated thanks for you're time

hmm. I know AEM is smog approved... im not too sure about others. I must say all the smog states are absolutley BS

I must say all the smog states are absolutley BS
It's a headache Remmy, I'll give you that. Taking a drive from the east San Diego County (which has smog troubles with emission standards) and then going down to Tijuana (where they have none) to see how bad theirs is makes me able to put up with it.

What manufacturer is your CAI made by?.... being from Cali..I wouldn't have touched it without all the paper work and decal. Sometimes it's better to pay a few bucks more to avoid the hassle. AEM
