AEM V2 coldair intake on automatic transmission

Default AEM V2 coldair intake on automatic transmission

would it be okay to install the V2 intake on an automatic? it says its supposed to be for manual... but i read somewhere that it works on an automatic. my cars a 1997 civic 4-DR LX

what do u think will happen?

this is the first performance upgrade i'm gnna buy.... ppl say its really good, i just dont know what will happen if i install it on my automatic trans.

the intake mounts to the tranny, that's why.

hey My04civic...

do u really have it installed on ur auto??

the one u have is compatible for both M/T and A/T

i was posting the same topic on other forums and i got the answer that the V2 WONT FIT on my tranny

any thoughts?

not really many thoughts on that, i mean yeah, mine fits, but i have a 7th gen. its an 04 so, im not clear on yours persay
