AEM V2 Installed..
And f*cking loving it! Seriously, it sounds amazing. It gives my car a VERY agressive sound at high rpms, it just sounds amazing, and the gains are a little noticable.. But not much, since its my first performance mod. The sounds is so deep, and doesn't sound ricey at all
.
But, other than that.. I'm having a little bit of a problem, when and ONLY when I rev to exactly 2k rpm, it makes this.. Rattling noise, like theres a rock flying around in the intake(I checked the filter and intake before I installed and there was nothing in them), and at higher rpms it sounds fine.. I mean, everything is fine, the only thing that might be causing that is the breather hose is a little bent/angled, could that possibly be the problem? I mean, everything looks secure and fine. The IAT(The temperature thing that plugs into it) is in there, but it doesn't fit all the way, but I don't think thats the problem, because I pushed it real snug against it, and revved it and it still made that noise. Also, when I was idling at a stoplight going to work, it idled REALLY low, then died.. And i'm like "Uhh.. What the.." But it only did it once, and hasn't done it again. But, does anyone think it could possibly be the breather hose because its bent? I've heard alot of people cut theirs short because it was about an inch or so too long.
Anyways, here are some pictures

This is in regards to your car stalling at the stop light. Did you remember to reset the idle after the install?
I believe the instructions would've called for you to disconnect the negative cable from the battery. That would require that you reset the idle by running the car at 3k rpm till its up to temp with all accessories turned off and then letting it idle for at least 5 min.
That intake does look great though. I would've got that one if I had more money to spend right now. I had to settle for the SRI.

Haha, yeah.. My engine bay is a little dirty [:'(]. I need to get some armor wipes or something and go over it.
I was asking because the Haynes manual says that if you disconnect the battery, when you start up the car again, it needs to re-learn its idle.
There are other situations that call for resetting the idle point but I don't know them off the top of my head.
