AEM V2 opinions

Default AEM V2 opinions

what do you think about the AEM V2 any good? is it good enough for my 97 lx civic?

i have heard good thinks about it, but i dont see spending like 300 bucks for maybe 10 hp if your a really lucky person. i just got the short ram...but iino i am pretty new to this so dont take my word

I don't think K&N makes a cold air intake for the 96-00 Civics. Having air at outside temperatures does make a difference. The worst place for an air filter is up on top or just to the side of the engine, near the hood. That's where all the hot air sits and on a hot day, you could very well hear some pinging going on. The only thing I don't like about the V2 is access to its filter. I cut a holes in the liner behind the bumper, just to be able to remove the filter for cleaning. i enjoy my v2 in my em2 civic. Nicer sound and you can feel a slight difference. And it looks cool too. I like to call my sri aem v2 my cars *****. lol

i used to think that way too . . . untill i got the power chamber from passwordjdm same ammountof HP gains about the same price and no risk of hydrolocking the engine. plus it looks a lot more nicer than the v2
