Did you get the correct one for your car? Did you put a gasket between the head and the header? Did you put a gasket between the output and the downpipe?

Kan most of us know we have A header, but it is a waste of time correcting people. Not trying to be a d!ck just that was pointless to correct him cause who gives a **** honestly. But op, most of the aftermarket once are the same outlet going in to the cat at the bottom. Did you transfer the donut exhaust gasket ring from your original exhaust manifold over to the header? Napa or Advanced and those places sell the ring for like $7, your oem one is probably broken up and only seals with the exhaust mani in the exact position it was in. I had to get a new one for my header when I got it.

God Paul you are so useless, you know nothing.

So is the downpipe that goes to the cat bigger for sure? Because that ring is meant to make a seal... I got my ring from Napa for about $7. I used a 2x4 on top of the ring and hammered it on then impact or whatever you use your exhaust together, through a little liquid gasket on the ring for added seal, and it'll tighten itself right up. I'll be very suprised if your header outles is bigger than the cat.
