they make a short ram V2 and a cold air V2. my friend has a short ram one in his civic and i've seen pictures of v2's with the piping going into the fender with the filter there just like any other cai.

not true. they make it different ways for different cars. in the older ones (92-00) they act like a CAI...and in the newer ones they act as an SRI (not sure about the 06's tho)

Thanks travman82, did you have any problems with the install or driveability? Has you CEL come on? How does it drive compared to stock? Thanks for you help!

I had no prob's what so ever it took me like 20 minute's and i noticed a tad bit dif in power but not much. it has a whistle that sounds pretty cool to me so... yeah there you go!

Sweet, thanks! That's what I was hoping for. I'm used to a whistle while driving. Since I put on the Helix catless downpipe on my wrx, you can hear the wastegate at any speed while accellerating. It sounds like a cricket chirping continuously, kinda cool.
