How would it sound like an angry bumble bee? It's made by HKS! They are a well respected car performance company. Why would they make a ****ty exhaust. If you know what it sounds like then obviously youv'e heard it, if you have a sound clip then i would like to hear it. Also, money is not a problem so the $500 factor doesn't bother me.

 

does it bother you when i say you could take the extra 200 and buy an intake...therefore getting both an exhaust and intake and 3-4 horsepower over what youd get with a new exhaust?

if you want loud...go with the HKS. i really hate the exhaust (no offense to anyone who has it) but its too effin loud for me and i hate that.

and you wouldnt gain any power one over the other. i mean hell its pipes and a muffler. its hard to make one performance one better than another.

 

I already have an intake. i have an AEM SRI. And your'e missing my question, do you have a sound clip. It shouldn't be to different from the Apexi N1, and also im not getting upset with you, i would just really like to know what it sounds like on a civic so i can decide for myself. It's not about the performance to me, it's about the sound.

 

trust me...if its about the sound...dont get it. it sounds like crap. its loud and obnoxious and you will have cops decending on you in 30 minutes.

edit: i retract my previous statements. its loud as ****. but it does sound good. one problem with the sound IMO is that it gets raspy in the high rpms.

slightly. but it sounds just as good IMO.

if you go to that site. they have it on four cars. on a civic it sounds the same way it does on that S2000.

The Hi-Power on a civic sounds the same as the S2K? I've heard those clips many times and i love them. Have you actually heard it on a civic or are you just guessing? Cops aren't a problem here so loudness doesn't matter. I'll buy it tommorow if it sounds like the one on the S2K

 

ive heard it and i really dont like how it sounds on a civic. and i dont like how it sounds on the s2k.

it sounds like a foxtrot bravo alpha on the evo VII tho.
