Default Can I take of the IACV if i fix a preformance intake manifold?

guys,

i got a civic exi, 2000YOM Ferio JDM version.

Curently my IACV is busted, i thought of fixing a Skunk Intake with a extra 100 dollers im going to spend on the IACV. So if i do that do i still need a IACV? Wil the intake manifold take off the reason to fix a IACV?

PLease educate me as i am clueless

I replaceIdle Air Control ValveI thought that was the problem for my stalling but it was my whole engine harness. But hey I have a new OEM IACV. My use one should be fine Since it never threw a Cel code for it I just replaced it because I though that was the problem but I was wrong. It came off my 00 SI but I know it also works for SOHC.
