Default can you clean all AEM CAI filters?

I read the DIY on how to clean an AEM CAI filter with water, then drying it out, oil and all, but I don't know if this applies to all AEM CAI filters or not. My AEM CAI was already installed when I bought the civic and the guy I bought it from didn't give me any oil and he didn't say anything about cleaning it. My last car had a K&N filter and I didn't get the filter until later, closer to when I decided to sell it, so I never used the K&N filter cleaningstuff thatI boughtseparate. If all AEM filters are cleanable, can I just use the K&N solution?

On a side note, I still have to post a pic of my AEM CAI system, cuz I still don't know what version it is and someone on here told me if I posteda pic of it, someone on here should be able to tell which one it is. I still have to get around to that. Thanks.

Default RE: can you clean all AEM CAI filters?

if it's a dryflow (the new kind), it'll say it right on the top of the filter.
