RE: how to clean cold air intake filters
its an off brand then if it doesnt have a name on it. just buy a K&N and u can just rewash that everytime it gets dirty or whenever u want. The way i wash mine is by filling up the kitchen sink w/really hott water and some dish soap (non detergent) and dipping it in and out constantly untill u get all the crud out. I take about 15-20mins just dipping it in and out. Then after clean if you dont have an air tank/hose just prop it up by a fan of somesort, let it dry out all the way. Give it a good hour or so and then get some filter spray. K&N sales that too and just spray a light coat over the whole filter and bam just like new again.

ya if its a no name id say... just replace it...
the cheap intake that i got off ebay was preaty much crap... just a metal screen!
i finaly riped it out and just replaced it with a nice AEM dry flow filter.... i think its beter than the K&N cause it doesnt need to be oiled...... just cleaned with thier cleaner stuff let dry and pop it back on
