I have an LX model civic. Me and my buddy were able to install a 4-1 header made for an ex on my car with no problems. I found a cat converter that I am interested in but it is also made for an ex. Do you think that it will also fit on my car?

is the cat placement on the 7th gens the same between trims? i know it isnt onanything else.

 

I'll check when I get to installing the cat in a week or so and post back. I'm not really sure.

 

well that would affect the header. i was under the impression that cat placement between the EX and LX was different, meaning that if you put an EX header on your LX it wouldnt line up.

 

Nah I didn't the research and found that in the 2003 version of the Civic. The EX and the LX models contain the exact same engine.

 

just get everything for an EX ---it will fit just the same
