wat do you think about buying u-bends... mandrel bent and makin its custom. i can get all the piping for 100... should i do this... its 100 more for labor. so i can get all piping and work for 200 with no muffler. should i do this?

 

Ok, well 100 for the bends, 100 for the rest of it, and ~ 100 for a decent muffler (maybe less) and you are looking at the same price as some pre-fabbed cat-backs.

 

OBX is crap

the cheapest exhaust you can get that still gives you performance is the holley thundermuff. unfortunately its more thunder than muff(ler?)...its fricken loud.

but if you got that (175ish) and a good muffler on ebay (magnaflow, greddy, megan) you basically have a greddy/magnaflow/megan/ect. catback for 250 bucks.

 

^ yeah, Magnaflow are Megan are both very good mid range systems. Greddy and Skunk2 will run you a little more but are a little better sounding in my opinon, exspecially Skunk2. Track down dj ipirate and get his Skunk2 clip, Forty has a Megan Racing system clip, Pcupo has a Magnaflow clip, and someone else had a Greddy clip (the dude with the all black 7th gen.)

 

a while ago i had clips of the greddy on a 350z...it doesnt sound much different on a civic and im sure the only difference was due to the fact that the 350z is dual exhaust. search for them or i'll see if i can scrounge upa link to the forum
