Default Cold Air Intake

if i want to get a cold air intake....do i need to get anything else in order for it to properly work? cause a buddy of mine mentioned that i would need something else (forgot what he said) but i never heard of needing anything else to go along with it. am i missing something?

nope. it sould come with everything you need. do you have any idea on what intake your looking to purchase?

you mean brand....either AEM or Injen.....as far as intake...i'd like to get a cold air...unless people can give me some reasons not to. what do you think?

either one you chose. it should come with all the materials you need. you just need to turn a wrench

then i don't know what he was talking about....so it should just be like a normal intake only longer piping right? they do have them for a 96 DX coupe right? <--i know....so uneducated

the normal intake isnt a pipe. its a box. and the box is one big filter.

where do you live?
