cold air intake

RE: cold air intake
yep and as long as you still have your inner fenders and splash shields.... shouldnt be a problem... BUT if you dont tho it wont lock the motor but it will suck some water thru the motor that will maybe bog the motor a bit but just the same as having some water in your gas tank... not a huge deal...
but if your realy concerned then just either MAKE your CAI into a SRI by simply cuting the intake tube in the engine bay and just puting the filter on thier.... then you can always buy a rubber joint and just conect the two pieces back together for a CAI again....

^ cut your CAI in half? That's pretty ghetto, man
I wouldn't worry about it at all. The worst thing that should happen (provided you don't try to cross any rivers or lakes) is your fuel mileage might suffer a little bit as a result of the water the engine does suck up (and it will suck up some water, just not enough to do any damage).
