Default Cold Air Intake

I have a 94 Honda Civic DX. I want to install a cold air intake properly.I only have one question. After all the plumbing and pipes are installed,do you have to mess with the mass air sensor or any other type of sensor for your cars computer to sense it?Or do you just install the hardware and presto its done?

As long as you pull that sensor off your stock air box and put it into the hole on your new intake, it'll work fine. You just need to let the car idle for about 5 minutes so the computer can "get used to" it.

Basically, if the CAI is designed for your car and it's a quality part, it'll have a spot made for the sensor and it will fit perfectly. Surprisingly, my ebay CAI had the right hole for the sensor and it fit just fine.
