cold air intake question?
I have a 1997 Honda Civic Ex with a SOHC VTEC, with a Greddy Evo2 cat-back exhaust system, and magnaflow high-flow cat, and I am looking to buy a cold air intake or maybe a short-ram intake or something of that nature. I'm not sure which one would be best for my car. Does anyone have any suggestions on what/where I should buy something like this?

RE: cold air intake question?
Do a search and you'll find tons of information on this site regarding that question. There is a little bit of a debate between Cold Air Intake and Short Ram Intake but anything over stock is good. Anyway, some of the popular names are AEM, and INJEN. Some have intakes from E-bay and are satisfied with it. It all depends on your budget.

RE: cold air intake question?
get a cold air intake. AEM and Injen are prolly to most popular here. ebay will be cheapest. cold airs tend to sound better than short rams and u gain a couple extra hp over a short ram with it.
good luck with everything!

RE: cold air intake question?
Thank you for all of your suggestions, most likely I will take a look and possibly go with the cold air intake because that seems to be the concensus and sorta what I had in mind. From the suggestions it looks like Ebay would be a good place to start looking at CIA, but what kind of prices should I expect to pay for a good quality intake, and what should I stay away from?
