I just started a thread this last week I went with a AEM CAI and everything is working out just fine. It sounds good to and you can hear it alot better where its not under the hood.

go aem for sure, some people say just buy a cheapo ebay intake, but you should just do it right the first time and you'll love anything from aem.

I came to the conclusion that most people believe it is worth spending the extra $ on buying a cold air intake, like something from AEM or Injen, but nobody is really explaining exactely why in detail the "good" name brand parts will make so much more of a difference in performance and sound. I would like hear some suggestions why i should spend the extra money of something like AEM when I can get an off brand for $20-$75 instead of paying like $200 or more. I would appreciate all suggestions and feedback. Thank You for your time.

fitment is the only big difference between name brands and generic ones. most ebay CAIs will perform just as well as an AEM or Injen. its just that the AEM and Injen will go in easier and fitment will be better.

btw...11 degrees = 1 horsepower

just sos u know
