Default Cold intake brands etc

I was wondering what's a good brand to get for cold air intakes.

I'm looking around google. I see ones fit for my 2005 civic, and some universal ones that look just the same...

I'm trying to do the cheapest and easiest hp/miles per gallon mods for now. Intake is #1, the removing cat converter just seems pointless for like 3hp(read the sticky)

So other than cold air intakes, what else provides for cheap hp/mpg? Oh, and my original question, what brands should i be looking for for a cold air intake?

Yes AEM v2 is a CAI. You'll pay alot but you get the most "HP" out of it . I put quotations because you might gain 1 hp more then my ebay piping and it costs three times as much.

Well that's what i'm saying, if i want the most efficient. If i'm going to pay 1/3 of the price, and get 9/10 of the power or something, i'll go with the cheaper one.

And before i did not mean cheap mods, i meant the cheapest per hp to gain.

Like everyone else says, if you go ebay, toss their filter, grab a real filter
AEM or K&N seem to be the top two

This is the cheapest thing i can find for cold air intake, at $109 ( http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Per...ake-Kit/17796/ )

Grab this, and a k&n or aem filter. Or is their cheaper out there? I tend not to go to ebay, but if there is cheaper out there i guess i could go there.

www.ebay.com

and just search " civic cold air intake 05 " you'll find tons for 20 -50 bucks. I don't know your model so you choose whatever one you want. Ditch the filter and buy a K&N or AEM, but don't believe the 8-20 hp bullcrap from the link you posted.
