Concerning AEM v2 Intake
I've heard countless times its the best but will it fit my civic??
i gotta 97 HX 2-door, and i was searching sites tryin to buy this intake and it says for 97 it will only fit on the CX, DX, and LX models with manual transmission (i got manual)
so is this true or will it fit in my civic??

RE: Concerning AEM v2 Intake
The intake for the LX, CX and DX will not fit your HX. Because the throttle body is positioned differently in the LX, CX and DX. Just look for a V2 for a 96-98 EX. Because any intake for the EX is interchangable with the HX. Here is one from Ebay that I found

RE: Concerning AEM v2 Intake
$250 for an intake is steep in the first place, and for the maybe 1 or 2 hp you gain over a generic intake pipe with a good filter it's not worth it. You could just get an Aem short ram for around $100. But , the route most people go now-a-days is just getting a regular intake pipe off ebay and then getting a quality filter.
