Default Custom SRI

Hey all, since I am so cheap sometimes, I decided to make my own short ram intake. Wasn' t that hard, I just needed to find a nice shinny pipe and have my friend bend it for. here is a pic of the pipe. I am getting my filter next friday. Hopefully all goes well with the install. Pics to follow

lol, no I can't afford 12 bucks. Nah, I don't own any credit cards or anything like that, or else I would have got one off of e-bay. And yes I have the rubber gasket, I just didn't think it need to be with the pic lol. Any who... That little breather thing that connects to the intake, I pretty much have to put it in. Someone told that if you get caught without it in your intake it's like a 1000 buck fine. It breaks the emmisions law up here in canada.

Damn dfdon. Your rims are trippin. What are those? I want to get something like those for mine. Did you have to lower your car at all? 17s or 18s?

Well I just finished installing my SRI. I bought a Green Filter. Anyone heard anything about them? The guy I bought it from said they are better quality than K&N so I thought why not. here is a link to a site that sells them if you want to check them out http://www.carxpressions.com/perform...en_filters.htm i didn't really notice a difference in sound you can hear it a little. it is very deep sounding....mabe its the pipe I used? anyways here is a pic of it installed...don't mind the rust under the hood, I have to do something about that.

good job on the custom sri but the filter that you got is questionable. on their site, they have fake dynos saying that you'll gain 8HP at 500RPM with the new filter. that's just impossible. the sales guy was probably trying to get the filter off his hands but i suggest you get a better filter, say the AEM dryflow.
