Do Ebay tubes differ from name brand????
I have a ractive SRI from some hick down here in FL. I really don't see a difference in performance. Does the tube make any difference in the performance, or is it just the filter.
Also, the guy gave me a steel filter(wtf) and alo the simple paper one. Is there really much of a difference or was it just a bs deal. I tried using both and I see no difference at all. Please let me know wuts goin on.

heat absorption actually does hinder performance slightly, but a steel tube is still a steel tube at the end of the day.
the diameter, bends and filter matter more.
that said, i'd still buy a name brand tube. that's just me, though. i like my car enough to buy nice stuff for it.

Filter is the bigges thing, but you look at the AEM V2, thats the only one of it's kind. It's a tube inside of tube. Research it if you wanna know more, but if you get an ebay intake, just replace the filter with an AEM Dryflow or K&N and you'll be set.
