A friend of mine mentioned that even though I don't have a turbo I can still leave my intercooler set up for better air intake purposes. Can this work or is he just talkin jiberish?

 

it wouldnt do anything for a gain really its made to cool real hot air.
if you use it for a intake, it will suk in reg air temp and cool with the same air temp.
so it serves no purpuse, no turbo anymore wtf?

 

they call them interfoolers around here, they actually make intakes to look like intercoolers. by the time the air gets to the top, its going to be the same temp anyhow so really its useless. good for looks though i guess.

 

Actually, those actually probably work a little better than a regular CAI. However, they look stupid.



With the setup the OP is talking about... no, won't help.

 

idk tho cause it still has to go by the block, its like the same as a reg cai. i think they look alright.
