I got a 2001 honda civic dx and i was wonderin which exhaust would be the best for my car. I want a exhuast not that loud so andI heard that the greddy SP2 catback or the Apex'i world tour 2 [ws2] would be the best and what about the hi-power hks cat back exhuast is that to loud.

What i mean bout loud is when im going 5 mile per hour i dont want it roaring.

 

Apexi WS2 is probably going to be the quietest exhaust. I'm not sure what the HKS sounds like...check out YouTube and do a search for the cat-backs you're interested in. That's what I did...

 

Magnaflows have a great sound, although at about $375, they ARE a bit expensive. Still, the whole system is polished very nicely.

 

if you're gonna go with a magnaflow, don't buy the catback. buy the muffler, and get a shop to make custom piping for you. it'll be much cheaper. additionally, a polished system, to say the least, is such a minor detail, people almost always overlook it when they purchase and exhaust. the exhaust, being so close the the ground where all the grim and dirt is, will gather dust like a piece of scotch tape in a sandbox (lmfao, weird analogy ftw). sure, you might want to polish it once in a while, but after a few months, you'll just be like 'screw it,' what a waste of time.

 

Magnaflows exhast is awsome my frined has it on his 99 civic ex!!!!!!!! not loud but it will be if u get on it SOUNDS ****ING AWSOME ITS WROTH EVERY CENT THATS WHAT ID GET

 

i got magnaflow on my 02 dx. its good awesome tone not loud at all, but does sound good. and alot of exhausts are only for the EX, and magnaflow is for dx/lx/ex. magnaflow FTW.

 

if you got the $$$, RSR Ex-Mag is the smoooooothest thing around
