TO BE HONEST, I DON'T LIKE THE NOISE SO I TOOK THE CUSTOM MUFFLER OFF AND PUT AN STOCK MUFFLER ON. MYQUESTION IS, IS THIS GOING TO HURT THE ENGINE? IT STILL MAKE" GR' RRR" NOISE WHEN I PUT ON THE GAS PEDLE THOUGH. SOME INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS.

if you are putting the stock muffler on....how could that not be good for the car?

 

to answer your question. NO it wont harm the car. The reason you still hear that grrrr sound is because you are dring an SI. I'm assuming if the previous owner put a custom exhaust i'm guessing they also put an intake in it.
