Hey im new on this forum but had my 2000 Civic si for about 4 weeks now and im bout to order an exhaust. Alot of people around here are telling me to go with the Greddy Evo2 exhaust? Is that a good exhaust to go with? The other exhaust i was thinkin bout getting is the HKS hi-power exhaust....? I want a pretty deep sound and have heard the HKS hi-power on other cars and sounds pretty good...I love the sound supras have...Now i know im not gonna get that exact sounds cause its a diff car and diff engine and so on...but i want to get as close to that as possible? Any suggestions?

 

Go with the Greddy. its about the deepest sounding cat-back youll find for an Si. its sounded great on my brothers old Si (R.I.P.) and even the old school one I picked up used for mine still sounds great. def go with the Evo2. You also might like the Apexi world sport 2 though, thats a nice system and has a pretty similar sound. the only deciding factor for me is the outlet on the Evo is offset to tuck more of the muffler up under the bumper so you cant see it as much.

Yea ill prob get the Evo2..prob order it in a week or two...i just wish i could hear a 2000 si with the HKS hi-power cause i really wanna know what that would sound like...heard it on other cars but not the si...

how much is your budet? that will make a pretty big impact on which system you can get or afford

 

ive got the apexi N1, my buddy;s got a turbo'd si with the evo 2

both sound good

N1 is deep toned and sounds great under vtec
evo 2 is very quiet especially under boost even with the the wastegate recurculated into the exhaust

 

Yea ive considered the N1 but i have that on my accord and wanna try something different. Budget isn't a problem cause i wanna get the best exhaust for my car....furture plans are Greddy Turbo w/ Greddy intercooler kit and Emanage...hopefully to have that within 7-8 months...i know 7-8 months may sound like a long time but it really isnt....i was thinkin that if im getting the greddy turbo and **** that maybe i should just get the greddy exhaust so it will all match and stuff...but i know they have the greddy evoTT and dont know if i should just go ahead and get that since the piping is allittle bit bigger? But has neone heard the HKS hi-power on a civic?

 

if you want to hear the apexi world sport two i posted a video of my car in sights and sounds check it out. its a drive by of a 96 ex. so lil different motor. i might could get a video of the exhaust from right behind it if you would like but it may be a day or two on that one. but definately check that video out and see what you think.

only mods is the exhaust and an aem sri

 

i hear RS-R ExMag is really good, but i dont know for sure, i am still looking for someone with first hand experiance with one
