i was wondering if you really had to have an exhaust on your car, like could you just run a pipe out to the side behind the front tire or would that somehow mess up your car?idk just a thought.

 

Ive heard many things. Like if the manifold is not hook up to the exhaust it could let too much hot air out and too much cold air in causing metal warping. Im not sure if its true. Also it will sound like the worlds biggest fart cannon and emissions wouldnt be good either.

 

if you like getting pulled over or anoying larg grupes of people than yes. you problebly can do that.

 

i dont really see the purpose of not having an exhaust. extremly loud and it would probably melt some stuff like remington said. so i guess wut im trying to say is, for street use, yes it is necessary. for a quick drag, no its not.

 

Yeah, for a daily driver, do everyone on the road a favor and keep an exhaust on that thing. Get a good cat-back, nice low tone, performance upgrade, oh yeah... and legal!

In some states it would be legal, but it would sound like a Nascar and you would tire of it in about 17.2 seconds.

a kid in my hood tried that once, said it really worked, we listen to it for a day, and then made it undrivable cuz he wouldnt put an exhausted on it to shut it up, im just sayin

 

wouldnt the exhaust fumes get sucked back into the engine if there was no header? since i have a warm air intake, installing a cold one this weekend, it would be running off exhaust fumes
