You can find yourself a Magnaflow or something with 2.25 inch piping for cheap. Then run a test pipe. It will flow better than you think. I am currently running a 2.25 inch magnaflow with a cat, and I definetly saw some sick *** power gains that late evening.

2. 2.25 to 2.5 is good
3. again, diameter of pipes is all about keeping the velocity as Sacicons said before. Id say for a D series 2.25 is good, and for B 2.5.
