Default Exhaust systems in San Diego

OK, I have a 2002 Civic EX coupe and I want to change out the stock exhaust. There's a few I'm looking at and wondered if anybody here in San Diego (I live in PB) has them so I can see how they sound and how low they hang to the ground. Thanks. Here are the (expensive) prospectives:

Apexi N1 or WS2
Skunk 2 Mega power
Greddy Evo 2
Greddy Racing Ti-C

but I'd be willin gto check out an RS-R or Megan exhaust. Anything that sounds good and has good performance is all.

I'm not trying to steal anyones stuff, I'm just tired of looking at the pea-shooter on the back of my car and don't want to end up with somethinging that sounds like an old tin-can or scrapes over every speed bump.

Thanks,
Ale

I personally love the sound of my Megan Drift spec.. It doesn't sound raspy at all and has a deep throaty sound, but depending on your noise tolerance you might want the silencer on. A VERY close second and was actually going to be my original exhaust would be the Ws2, But hey I purchased my Drift Spec for 100 bucks off a buddy and it's perfect. Unless your **** as some of us are.. it's going to give the exact same noise and give you the exact same performance used compared to new, so look for the deals if you're down with waiting and wanting to save some dough.

N1's sound like crap, I can tell you that right away. Megan Racing Drift Spec usually sounds like crap IMO, but xsteinbachx likes his. They get annoying at highway speeds due to their loudness, and if you put a silencer on, you just get a raspy and slightly louder version of the tone of the WS2.

Get either the WS2, Ti-C, or RS*R
The WS2 hangs pretty much just as low as stock, to give you an idea of how low it is.

greddy evo2 is made for road clearance and has a nice sound, a lil pricey though. definitely spend a good amount of time on youtube to really hear them and see what they look like before buying, it really helps. youtube is your friend...

I forgot to mention, all of the exhaust systems with normal shaped mufflers (non-fart cans) have good clearance. The only fart-can i've seen that has good clearance is the Magnaflow one, but that's because it's small.

Exhausts that look like the Apex-i N1 are most likely going to have horrible clearance, because of the way they are shaped.

get a 140 dollar n1 exhaust off ebay, cut off the muffler and put an obx twin loop on there. they just sound plain amazing. they don't hang low at all either

Thanks for all the tips guys (and maybe gals?) and sorry for the double-post. I'm definitely into saving some dough, and it's not quite a necessity yet.
