exhuast heatsheild

Default exhuast heatsheild

so i just bought a 97 civic DX 2 door coupe and i switched all four tires today and the brakes are a little squeaky so im going to put some new pads on there and rotors but there is a rattle under the passenger seat which i think is the exhaust heat sheild and idea why this would be rattling and what i can do to stop this ???

i had a problem like this in my car but it was on my cat heat shield....

some hose clamps did the trick..i know your car is different from this but same concept

On my dad's 96 Civic Lx it was also making some noise on the down-pipe. Stupid shield came lose. HOSE Clamp did the JOB.

hey guys update it was accutally the heat sheild by the gas tank to i just did a spot weld to the muffler no more rattle
