Alright, I got the O2 sensors for my car, and began pulling the old one off. I yeanked the heat shield off the header pipe, and I think I found what might be causing the check engine light to come on. My header is cracked through. [:@]Ouch.

So here is my question. Does anyone know a good source for aftermarket LX header/converter. The OEM part from my garage is around $660. I have seen parts on-line for half that. Does anyone have experience with Catco, Eastern, or Arvin or any others?

the catco headers are a good brand and won't crack nearly as easily as the stock header would. i had the same problem on my 99 civic.

 

I think I've sen stock for under 150 with a 3 year warranty on ebay
