which is better for the 7th gen ....the 4-2-1 header or the 4-1??
does it really a have a boost / difference?

With 4-2-1 you gain more midrange power and for 4-1 you gain more high end power.

I also have an 02 DX and wanted to do the headers, but couldn't find any. Basically what you will have to do, or from what I have been told, is get headers AND a cat-back exhaust for an EX and install them at the same time.. It really sucks because I wanted to do a piece at a time.. If I am wrong, please let me know!

I have a 98 HX, which also had the the cat in the header. I bought a spoon sports header and besides the fact that it bolted up perfectly, I got no check engine light at all. Just plugged in the 2 sensors on the 2 holes of the new header. I have to get a cat welded in there soon though, but I was told aswell that I would get a check engine light, and it's been a week since it's been installed and so far so good.

thats kinda weird that you havent gotten a check engine light... it really doesnt make sence.

did u get the code it was throwing checked? if so did it have to do with the o2 sensors,

ive read that on some hondas that if you remove the 2nd o2 sensor that it will throw a code no matter if you clear it or not but i could be wrong
