Default HELLO EVERYONE

HI ...im new to the forum but not to cars.....

BUT i searched for my answers and formulated an idea that i would like to confirm...

FIRST i have a 2005 CIVIC sedan LX.

i want to put a header & exhaust.... so this is what i have figured out so far....

i can use a header from an EX or an aftermarket header for an EX, but i will have to repipe a high flow cat under the car AND reposition the secondary O2. or i can use a straight pipe from the header and use an O2 simulator.

as far as the exhaust..i am gonna use 2.25"-2.5" steel to a magnaflow muffler.

i expect to gain ~10% from all this. and spend around $500 or less

i will also get an intake for my car....does price really matter here? all i really want is the piping and then i will add a K&N

i am in Canada and I DONT HAVE SMOG testing WHERE i LIVE YA!!

i already put on Hawk racing pads and Eibach Pro-Kit springs!!

Thanks
Rod

No, just buy a pre fabricated kit. A magnaflow will run you about $340. Its been specifically made for your car and tested. If you were to get custom, bob the welder would only be able to guess.
