Exactly how do you suck water into your intake while washing your car? Did you leave the engine on and spray the intake with water?

Lets say that the car was running while you were washing the car. If enough water gets into the intake and it makes its way to the engine good luck. Unlike gas or other flamable liquids water will not compress or ignite and a rod will most likely bend.

If the car wasn't on you should have just left it, I doubt that water got into the engine, but let it sit for a little bit if your paranoid.

Leave it it should be fine. I drive in the rain all the time and my intake sits about 3-4 ins. off the ground and its fine.(it does get wet)
