looking at cat back exhaust and getting differnet answers if it will fit my car. Looking at the Tsudo N1 exhaust, saw on several websites that it only fits the EX model, then on some other sites lists that the same one will fit all models 01 - up 2dr and 4dr. I don't want to spend all that money only to find out that it doesn't fit. Can anyone help, don't know which site it correct.

i take it u have a 05 lx i have 97 lx with the same problem--the difference {i think ] is that a lx has the cat conv is in the header pipe --the ex has the cat conv. between the header pipe & mid pipe --im thinking of gettin a header &cat back exhaust for a ex -- i think ex & lx 4 drs are the same body style [&:] correct me if in wrong please!

Called Honda and got my answer. the 01-up Civic LX has a chassis code of ES1 and the 01-up Civic EX has ES2 chassis code. Honda also states the cat is located in different location. So if anyone else is in the same situation be carefull.

AOL.com, just to let you know Honda chassis code for your LX is the same as the EX, but I would talk to Honda if I were you to make sure there's no difference.

Here is more to the answer of 01-up LX and EX difference. The LX and DX model has the cat conected to the header and the EX cat is under the car after the down pipe. Info recieved from Magnaflow. Hope this help anyone else out there with a 01-up LX.
